If you are currently a 2016 member of CVSC and need to renew your membership, you can either renew online or fill out a hard copy of the membership form (see under “Membership Form” tab on the upper right). If you decide to fill out a hard copy form, you can mail it, proof of current NRA membership, and dues ($125 regular, $115 for 62 and above) to us at PO Box 333, Newberg, OR 97132 or you can bring it to our next regular club meeting on Wednesday December 21st at 6:30 pm at the Newberg Police Department.
Conex Pistol Lane Rules
- This range is for handguns only. 22 Long Rifle, 25 ACP, 32 ACP, .380, 9X18 Makarov, 9mm, .327, 38 Special, 357 Mag, 357 Sig, 40S&W, 10mm, 41 AE, 45 ACP, and 45 Long Colt are the only permissible calibers.
- All firing takes place behind the bench and shooting from the wood floor of the conex. No shooting from outside the conex.
- Rapid fire (more than 2 shots in one second) is strictly forbidden on this range.
- Only paper and cardboard targets may be used on this range. Targets must be attached to the supplied target carrier system.
- Drawing from a holster and firing whether concealed or not is not allowed on this range. Concealed handguns may be drawn only to place it on the firing bench.
We will be having a workday on Saturday September 17th from 8 am until around noon. The range will be closed during this time so that we can pick up, clean up and get the range looking good. Please bring weedeaters so we can beat back some of the berry vines. Your help is greatly appreciated!

Yamhill County Sheriff Tim Svenson will be our guest of honor at our general club meeting on Wednesday May 18th at 6:30 pm at the Newberg Public Safety Building. As many of you are probably aware, Sheriff Svenson is very Pro-Gun and he will be talking about current events as well as being available to answer any general questions. See ya’ there!

The CVSC youth shooting program could be what you are looking for. Our experienced coaches are ready to help your youth learn and develop the skills needed to master marksmanship proficiency. Shooting sports are educational, fun, and help today’s boys and girls appreciate our country’s history as well as help them become tomorrow’s skilled sportsmen and women.
The CVSC Youth Shooting Team’s goal is to introduce young people to the safe and responsible use of firearms in a controlled and supportive environment.
CVSC Youth Shooting Team practice will begin Tuesday, May 3, 2016. There is no cost to join, but we do accept donations.
Practice will be held every Tuesday from 6:30 to 8:00pm, May3 thru June 21, 2016 at the Chehalem Valley Sportsman Club Range in Dundee. We will be exploring many shooting disciplines thru both classroom instruction and hands-on experiences in addition to increasing marksmanship skills thru weekly practice.
Come join the fun
The team is open to all girls and boys age 10 to 17 (younger children require prior approval). We require each person in attendance (including spectators) to bring hearing and eye protection. Long pants and closed toe shoes are REQUIRED on the range.
Pre registration IS REQUIRED prior to the first meeting.

We will once again be hosting the Appleseed program at CVSC. The program will be held April 16 and 17, June 4 and 5, and September 10 and 11.
