If you are interested in becoming a new member for 2021, we have a membership cap. There will likely be about 65 to 70 openings (from 2020 members who do not renew for 2021).
Prospective new members will need to fill out a new member form which will be posted on this website on December 9th and then physically drive by the Newberg Public Safety Building Wednesday evening December 16 between 6:30pm and 7:30pm and give their application to one of us along with proof of NRA membership. We won’t be having any in-person meetings, just a drive-by drop-off event that evening.
We will draw applications randomly until we fill the open spots and they will be notified by email of when the new member orientations take place. Last year, everyone who showed up got in but hey, this is 2020 and things are difficult to predict.
2021 renewals will be online or mail-in only. We will not be having the usual monthly membership meetings for the rest of the year. You may print the 2021 Membership Renewal form and send it by mail with proof of NRA membership, payment by cash or check, and signed form or you may renew online starting on October 1, 2020. We will shut down the online renewals on December 16. If you choose the mail-in option, your renewal must be postmarked no later than December 16, 2020.
On Wednesday August 19th, Sheldon Clay (with Newberg PD) will be our guest speaker. He will be giving a clinic on how to clean and maintain AR’s. If you want to learn the best way to take care of you AR, plan on coming to this meeting.
The meeting will be Wednesday, August 19th at the Newberg Public Safety Building at 6:30 pm.
